The PERUVIAN INSTITUTE OF ARBITRATION - IPA is the leading institution in the region for its connoted efforts to promote and disseminate the practice of arbitration as an efficient and effective mechanism for the settlement of disputes in Peru and Latin America. The First Latin American Arbitration Conference - CLA was held at the Gran Teatro del Banco Central del Paraguay in Asunción. The event was organized by the Peruvian Institute of Arbitration - IPA and the Center for the Study of Law, Economy and Politics - CEDEP.

Costa Rica
The Peruvian Institute of Arbitration - IPA and ICC Costa Rica organized the I International Arbitration Congress in Costa Rica, "Present and Future of International Commercial Arbitration", in San José, under the presidency of Dr. Jorge Chacón.

Chile
The 1st Meeting of Peruvian and Chilean Arbitrators, organized by the Peruvian Institute of Arbitration - IPA and the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce, was held in Santiago, Chile. The event was presided over by the remembered master Francisco Orrego Vicuña.

Brazil
The First Pan-American Arbitration Congress was held in the city of Sao Paulo, Brazil. An event organized by the Peruvian Institute of Arbitration - IPA and the Center for Arbitration and Mediation of the Chamber of Commerce Brazil-Canada (CAM-CCBC), under the chairmanship of Dr. Frederico Straube.
2015
El Salvador
The Mediation and Arbitration Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of El Salvador (CCIES) and the Peruvian Institute of Arbitration (IPA) organized the First Central American Congress on Investment Arbitration. Its objective was to emphasize the importance of arbitration as an alternative dispute resolution method and to show the advantages it offers to the business world. The congress was held on January, 29th and 30th, 2015 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in San Salvador, El Salvador.

Bolivia
For the first time, our traditional International Seminar on Investment Arbitration was held in the city of La Paz - Bolivia, organized by the Peruvian Institute of Arbitration - IPA and the Bolivian Institute of Arbitration and Conciliation - IBAC.

Ecuador
For the first time, the First International Congress on Commercial and Investment Arbitration took place in Samborondon - Ecuador. It was organized with the collaboration of the Espiritu Santo University, the UEES Arbitration and Mediation Center and the Quevedo & Ponce Law Firm.

The Arbitration and Mediation Center of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce and the IPA - Peruvian Institute of Arbitration organized the VII International Seminar on Investment Arbitration, an event that brought together leading exponents of Arbitration, on September, 23rd and 24th, 2019.
